The Most Frequent Word n-Grams
Holec, Matúš ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of effective system for word n-grams extraction from texts. System is based on batch processing therefore it is able to process large text corpuses. The first part contains principles of existing methods for an n-gram extraction. The next part includes description of the implemented system as well as the approach of acceleration system by paralelizing the batch processing. The last part contains efficiency comparison between available implementations and designed system and time complexity comparison between sequential and paralelized approach.
Batch processing of perfusometric MRI data
Filipová, Petra ; Macíček, Ondřej (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the DCE – MRI method (Dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging). Basic principle of magnetic resonance and pulse sequence is described. The diploma thesis focuses on the DCE method, especially on the description of the processing procedure by this method. Description of selected pharmacokinetic models is the part of this diploma thesis as well. Furthermore, description and realization of batch processing by PerfLab system is presented. For verifying purposes of the batch processing functionality real data were measured using created acquisition protocol, which is also part of the diploma thesis.
Graphical Editor for Job Structure Configuration in Batching API
Hanus, Tomáš ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes implementation of a graphical editor for a job structure configuration in Java EE Batching API in the form of a plugin for integrated development enviroment IntelliJ IDEA. It focuses mainly to allow a bi-directional propagation of changes between both graphical and text representation of JSL language. This document introduces the characteristic of batch processing and also the architecture of IntelliJ IDEA. It also briefly describes the design of the plugin and some of the procedures used in its implementation. The usability of this tool is demonstrated by five examples of batch jobs. In the end, there are mentioned some possibilities for the future improvements. The tool is available under Open Source license.
Dávkové zpracování v DNA analyzéru
Novotný, Patrik
This bachelor thesis will deal with batch processing of data within the scope of DNA analyzer application. At the start, it is a good idea to provide basic information on the main concepts: batch processing and DNA analyzer. Batch processing is the way data is processed. Data is read in a certain number, processed and then written in batch. By reading and writing more data in one moment, the read and write overheads are reduced. For example, if we read data from a database, process it and then re-write it to the database. If data is read and written by one item, additional overhead is added to the operation. If multiple items are read while reading, and more is written when writing, this will reduce the average overhead per item. Also, the batch status examines whether the batch has been run successfully, failed, is still running, or has not yet started. DNA Analyzer is an application that helps investigate DNA structures, working in bioinformatics. The aim of the analyzer is to provide a free and user-friendly tool for studying DNA properties. The analyzer is developed at the Institute of Informatics of Mendel University in Brno in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
